The Nooksack Watershed Agreement resolves significant questions about managing finite county water resources. Parties to the Agreement have embraced the idea that we all desire to live within a healthy Nooksack River watershed.

County citizens, Lummi Nation, Nooksack Indian Tribe, State agencies, Governor and legislators all celebrate the effort. Necessary statutory & regulatory changes have all become subjects of viable consideration; and this support includes significant funding from multiple sources to enable the work to follow.
